Bangladesh's Tour of Zimbawe 2009: 4th ODI
This is the review of the 4th ODI between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. Prior to this match Bangladesh has won the first 2 matches against Zimbabwe (1st ODI, 2nd ODI) and lost in the 3rd ODI.
Zimbabwe: 312/8 in 50 overs
Bangladesh: 313/6 in 47.5 overs
Toss: Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat first.
Result: Bangladesh won the match by 4 wickets and 13 balls to spare
Man of the Match: Charles Coventry and Tamim Iqbal jointly
Zimbabwe's innings: The 12 year long record of the highest individual score in an innings has been equaled today. Congratulations to Charles Coventry for his 194*. Poor staff from the bowlers.
Fall of wickets: 1-5 (Vermeulen, 1.3 ov), 2-87 (Masakadza, 15.2 ov), 3-102 (Taylor, 20.4 ov), 4-111 (Williams, 23.5 ov), 5-218 (Matsikenyeri, 41.2 ov), 6-282 (Chigumbura, 46.4 ov), 7-302 (Waller, 48.6 ov), 8-303 (Mupariwa, 49.2 ov)
Bangladesh's innings: What chase it was! To be honest after the end of Zimbabwe's innings I didnt think that Bangladesh is going to win this match. But seeing the opening partnership hope started to take the place of doubt. Tamim played so wonderfully today. It is the highest individual score by any Bangladeshi. Congratulations to Tamim and Bangladesh. By the way, it was the highest successful run chase by Bangladesh.
Congratulations to Bangladesh for wining the series. Congratulations to Tamim for his 154 in 138 balls.

Bangladesh's Tour of Zimbabwe 2009: 3rd ODI
This is the review of the 3rd ODI between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. Prior to this match Bangladesh has won the first 2 matches against Zimbabwe (1st ODI, 2nd ODI).
Zimbabwe: 323/7 in 50 overs
Bangladesh: 254/10 in 44.2 overs
Toss: Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field first.
Result: Zimbabwe won by 96 runs
Man of the Match: E Chigumbura
Zimbabwe's innings: It was an wonderful batting performance by the Zimbabwe team. They had no respect for the bowlers what so ever and gave proper treatment to the poor bowling performance by Bangladesh. This innings should teach Bangladesh an important lesson- Never underestimate your opponent. Why did Bangladesh change the playing eleven this much?
Fall of wickets: 1-6 (Sibanda, 1.4 ov), 2-17 (Vermeulen, 3.6 ov), 3-60 (Coventry, 11.2 ov), 4-202 (Masakadza, 38.6 ov), 5-292 (Taylor, 47.2 ov), 6-319 (Matsikenyeri, 49.2 ov), 7-322 (Waller, 49.5 ov)
Bangladesh's innings: Really poor staff. Why did Bangladesh replace Junaed? Why did Bangladesh chose to field first? The day before they score 320 batting first, but today they chose to field? Why?
Fall of wickets: 1-0 (Tamim Iqbal, 0.1 ov), 2-8 (Naeem Islam, 1.3 ov), 3-16 (Mohammad Ashraful, 4.1 ov), 4-39 (Shakib Al Hasan, 7.4 ov), 5-107 (Mushfiqur Rahim, 20.4 ov), 6-131 (Mahmudullah, 26.1 ov), 7-173 (Raqibul Hasan, 32.1 ov), 8-238 (Mehrab Hossain jnr, 41.3 ov), 9-248 (Enamul Haque jnr, 43.1 ov), 10-254 (Mahbubul Alam, 44.2 ov)

Bangladesh's Tour of Zimbabwe 2009: 2ndODI
This is the review of the 2nd one day international match between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. The first match of this series was won by Bangladesh by 8 wickets and so they lead the five match series by 1-0.
Bangladesh: 320/8 in 50 overs
Zimbabwe: 271/10 in 46.1 overs
Toss: Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to field first.
Result: Bangladesh won the match by 49 runs
Man of the Match: Shakib Al Hasan
Bangladesh's innings: Thoroughly it was a great batting performance by the tigers especially by Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal. Tamim batted really well today (like the previous match) and got his fifty again. But I was a bit disappointed to see the run outs. The first wicket was a run out. Tamim also got out in the similar fashion. He was looking good and deserved a hundred today. Riad was also run out but it was a bit unfortunate; Mushfiq played the shot, it touched bowler's hand and knocked the bails off the stamps. Shakib Al Hasan was m.a.g.n.i.f.i.c.e.n.t. today. He got his 3rd century of his career in just 63 balls. One thing that I must mention about this match is the minefields. 2 easy catches were dropped and a lot of balls slipped between the hands of the Zimbabwe fielders. It was the highest ever ODI total for Bangladesh. The last best score was 301/7 against Kenya. The tigers roared with their bats today.
Zimbabwe's innings: It was a tight match. Though Zimbabwe lost two very early wickets they fought back with courage. But in the end Bangladesh came on top. Rasel, Shakib, Nazmul, Enamul Jr took 2 wickets each. Riad took one.

Man of the Match: Mohammad Ashraful
Zimbabwe's innings: The full scorecard is here.
Fall of wickets: 1-0 (Masakadza, 0.6 ov), 2-25 (Chibhabha, 7.1 ov), 3-74 (Taylor, 20.5 ov), 4-110 (Coventry, 28.1 ov), 5-125 (Williams, 32.4 ov), 6-145 (Matsikenyeri, 38.2 ov), 7-178 (Vermeulen, 42.2 ov), 8-183 (Chigumbura, 43.2 ov), 9-204 (Price, 47.2 ov), 10-207 (Utseya, 47.5 ov)
Bangladesh's innings: Ashraful was mindblowing. Tamim was also great. This kind of batting performence is what the tiger fans want to see.

Bangladesh vs West Indies 2009: T20
This is the review of the only Twenty20 match of Bangladesh’s tour of West Indies 2009 series. Prior to this match Bangladesh has won the test series and the ODI series.
Bangladesh: 118/9 in 20 overs
West Indies: 119/5 in 16.5 overs
Toss: Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first.
Result: West Indies won by 5 wickets
Man of the Match: DJG Sammy
Bangladesh’s innings: I don't know what just happened. Bangladesh played very good in the test and the ODI series but they played very bad in this twenty20. The first 3 wickets fell in just 12 runs. No partnership was strong enough to dictate terms for Bangladesh. I really hoped for the tigers to win this match. Even though they lost this match, I don't have any hard feelings on them as they played extremely well throughout the series.
West Indies’ innings: West Indies batted good today. They deserved to win. West Indies were looking like they would win this match by 7 wickets, before the last two wickets fell. Mohammad Ashraful took two wickets. Shakib, Nazmul and Rubel took one each. Congratulations to West Indies.
The full scorecard will be available after the end of one innings. Meanwhile, the live scorecard is here.
